Profile

Background and focus.

I am a founder and CEO who built a company from the ground up and led it through acquisition by a publicly listed group. As founder and CEO of PowerPool Mining SL, I held full P&L ownership and ran every function of the business — strategy, finance, operations, technology and commercial. In 2024 the company was acquired by Lokotech Group AS, a publicly listed Norwegian company on Euronext Growth Oslo, which took a majority stake. I retained a significant equity stake, continued as CEO of PowerPool, and joined the Lokotech board, where I serve as Chief Product Officer and board member.

This executive track record is underpinned by deep technical and quantitative foundations. A background in applied mathematics and engineering, together with first-hand command of the systems at the core of the digital-asset economy — mining pools, ASIC hardware, blockchain protocols and trading systems — lets me lead cross-functional teams and set board-level strategy with a direct understanding of the technology the business runs on.

I work in Spanish, English, Italian and Catalan, including written technical and board-level reports, and operate comfortably across international, multi-language settings.

Areas of Expertise

Where I lead, and the technical domains that support it.
01

Executive Leadership & General Management

Full P&L ownership and end-to-end responsibility for every function of a company — strategy, finance, operations, technology and commercial. Leading cross-functional teams, setting board-level strategy as a director of a publicly listed group, and taking a business from founding through acquisition and integration.

02

Cryptocurrency & Blockchain Systems

Bitcoin, Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains, wallet custody (hot/cold/multi-sig), transaction tracing, address attribution, smart-contract behaviour, token issuance and DeFi mechanics. Comfortable working at protocol level as well as application level.

03

Crypto-Mining Operations & Hardware

Mining-pool architecture, hashrate accounting, payout schemes (PPS, PPLNS, FPPS), stratum protocols, ASIC firmware and performance, electrical and thermal design, and the economics of large-scale mining. Built from the inside as both an operator and a hardware architect.

04

Algorithmic Trading & Markets

Self-taught and experimental in the early years from 2022, developing into substantive high-frequency and arbitrage strategies across cryptocurrency exchanges and computational-power markets. Statistical analysis of order books, execution patterns and microstructure, built and operated in production rather than studied academically.

05

Mathematical & Quantitative Analysis

Applied mathematics, statistics and computational modelling. Probabilistic reconstruction of events from incomplete records, simulation, regression and predictive modelling. Trained to state assumptions explicitly and quantify uncertainty.

Professional Experience

Operating roles across crypto-mining, blockchain and algorithmic markets.
